This Friday the 26th of February, ICHPIG® will be presenting the second solo exhibition by local Melbourne artist J1M.
J1M is a Melbourne artist undertaking his Fine Art honours in 2021. For his second solo exhibition, J1M will utilise the ICHPIG® Brunswick Factory, to present works created during and following the City’s COVID-19 lockdowns. With the majority of people isolated at home, J1M invites his viewers back into the ‘workplace’.
Further supporting J1M's exhibition and creative practice, ICHPIG® has produced a 3 piece capsule of tee shirts, titled 'Loonies Tees'.
Within each collaborative piece, you'll find one of J1M's appropriated Looney Tune characters screen-printed in a technical layering of tonal hues. The instantly recognisable colours of red, blue, and green, draw directly from the artists famed hand drawn biro pen aesthetic.
